The lineup for this year’s Glastonbury Festival has officially been announced, with The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo, and Neil Young set to headline. The festival will take place from June 25-29 at Worthy Farm in Somerset, England.
The 1975 will make their Pyramid Stage headlining debut on Friday, June 26, while Olivia Rodrigo will close out the festival on Sunday night. Neil Young, joined by his band Chrome Hearts, is returning to Glastonbury for the first time since 2009.
Other big names added to the lineup include Doechii, Alanis Morissette, Tate McRae, Father John Misty, Ezra Collective, Lola Young, RAYE, Noah Kahan, Biffy Clyro, Gracie Abrams, and Wolf Alice. Charli XCX, Loyle Carner, and The Prodigy will take over The Other Stage throughout the weekend.
Rod Stewart will take the iconic “legends slot” on Sunday, June 29. The 79-year-old singer last performed at Glastonbury in 2002, headlining alongside Coldplay and Stereophonics.
Tickets for Glastonbury 2025 sold out in under an hour back in November. However, as in previous years, a resale is expected in early April for any canceled or unpaid tickets.
The 1975 have played Glastonbury twice before—first in 2014 with a Pyramid Stage afternoon set and again in 2016 on The Other Stage. Their headlining slot this year comes amid rumors of new music, as frontman Matty Healy hinted last February that a new album was in the works.
Olivia Rodrigo’s fans had already speculated that she would be a headliner due to her UK tour dates lining up with the festival. She last played Glastonbury in 2022, where she brought out Lily Allen for a performance.
Neil Young, meanwhile, initially announced in January that he wouldn’t be playing, calling the festival a “corporate turn-off.” But just days later, he reversed his decision, posting a brief update on his website saying, “Happily, the festival is now back on our itinerary and we look forward to playing!”
Last year’s Glastonbury headliners included Dua Lipa, SZA, and Coldplay, with the latter becoming the first act to headline five times.
With such a stacked lineup, Glastonbury 2025 is shaping up to be another unforgettable year.
