Kai Cenat makes history once more, with his 3rd Mafiathon! Mafiathon is Kai Cenats’ own creation, a 30-day 24/7 stream, designed not just for entertainment, but to raise the bar for what creator-driven marathons can achieve. With big-name stars, record-breaking milestones, and philanthropic aims; this installment of Mafiathon has turned heads across the digital space.
Celebrity Power
Right from the trailer for Mafiathon 3, Kai Cenat signaled this would be no ordinary stream. The trailer for the event featured actor, Michael B Jordan, who dared Kai Cenat to shave off all of his hair for the last day of Mafiathon 3. This was just a small indication of the star power that was to come.
On the first day of Mafiathon 3, September 1, Kai brought out a surprise guest Kim Kardashian; who joined for the evening’s games & pranks and even offered words of encouragement to the viewers. As the days progressed, the guest list grew wilder! Hip-hop legends like Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, and Ice Cube made appearances on the stream. They kicked it back on stream, and smoked and chatted the entire time. A surprise appearance was also made by Selena Gomez, along with her fiance Benny Blanco and rapper Lil’ Dicky. They gifted Kai with Rare Beauty products and Benny shared some wisdom about being a fellow creative. Rapper and RnB singer, Teyana Taylor, also made her way to the stream. She and Kai prayed, shared stories, and discussed the possibility of Kai having to cut off his dreads if he reached a million subscribers on twitch. Other celebrity guests include Tisha Campbell, Keke Palmer, Roman Atwood, Big Time Rush, Latto, Ice Spice, and Mariah Carey.
These celebrity appearances weren’t merely cameos in the stream, many of the guests deeply connected with the viewers of the stream and shared their own wisdom and participated in making Mafiathon 3 a viral sensation.

Milestones & Accomplishments
Mafiathon 3 wasn’t just about creating entertainment, Kai Cenat had serious ambitions behind it. In the trailer for the event, Kai Cenat had been dared by Michael B. Jordan to cut off his dreads once he hit 1,000,000 subscribers on twitch, a goal that if achieved, would not only shatter his previous record of 700,000 subscribers, but also make him the first creator on Twitch to amass a million subscribers.
In the first week, the stream had quickly hit 300,000 subscribers; and then went on to gain 100,000 subscribers weekly. Nearing the end of Mafiathon 3, Kai Cenat had accomplished his goal of 1,000,000 subscribers on Twitch, making him the first creator in Twitch history to do so. This of course meant that Kai had to cut off his dreads on the last day of the stream; and who better to do it than Lebron James. Both Twitch & Kai’s fans celebrated in his achievements.
Of course, Kai’s goals for Mafiathon 3 ranged outside of his own. Since the start of the promotions for Mafiathon 3, Kai had stated that 15% of subscription proceeds will go toward building a school in Nigeria. With a 1,000,000 subscribers gained that means $375,000 (after taxes & Twitch’s cut of the proceeds) will go toward building the school. Kai Cenat also used a part of the subscription proceeds to begin the rollout of his previous venture, Streamer University, this time in 2026; to help out smaller streamers who have big aspirations as he does.
The Impact of Mafiathon 3
Mafiathon 3 stands as a milestone in streaming culture, demonstrating how creators can build community and have a positive impact through their content. In a space that is often driven by view counts and monetization, Kai Cenat turned his streaming marathon into a platform, where legends in music, film, and entertainment can come together to foster community.
Mafiathon 3 leaves a lasting mark not just on Kai Cenat’s legacy, but on what creators can aim to achieve in the streaming era. This is just the beginning of many record-shattering goals in Kai Cenats career, we can’t wait to see what’s to come.
