The pop rebel continues her liberation journey with a bold new track dropping March 27

Kesha has officially announced her fiery new collaboration with T-Pain, “Yippee-Ki-Yay”, marking her third independent release since leaving RCA and Kemosabe Records. The track drops this Thursday, March 27 – and the teasers promise her most unapologetic work yet.
What We Know About the Single
The singer has been teasing fans with provocative clips showing:
- Kesha in black lingerie, wrapped in plastic with a leaf blower swirling her hair (reminiscent of her early outrageous style)
- Country-tinged guitar riffs paired with a final “yee-haw”
- A hotel corridor scene where she crawls on all fours
“This is me reclaiming my voice – no filters, no limits,” Kesha recently told fans. “Yippee-Ki-Yay is that rebellious yell after years of fighting to be heard.”
Kesha’s Independent Era
Since launching Kesha Records in 2024, the Grammy-nominated artist has:
✔ Released “Joyride” – her first fully self-owned track post-Dr. Luke legal battle
✔ Dropped the glitter-punk anthem “Delusional”
✔ Featured on Charli XCX’s “Spring Breakers” remix
✔ Teased a completed sixth album coming later this year
“JUST TURNED IN MY ALBUM… TO MYSELF,” she captioned a recent Instagram post – a powerful statement about her creative freedom.
