Last Flag A New Game from Imagine Dragons’ Lead Singer

Night Street Games is a studio founded by Dan Reynolds, lead singer of Imagine Dragons, and his brother Mac Reynolds. The studio focuses on creating handcrafted multiplayer experiences, and their newest title, LastFlag, is set to release this year.

LastFlag draws inspiration from 1970s game shows. The core gameplay centers on a competitive “hide the flag” concept: teams must conceal their own flag, locate the enemy’s, capture it, and defend it for one minute to secure victory. Designed as a fast-paced 5v5 shooter, the game places contestants inside a stylized TV-show setting where strategy and teamwork determine the winner.

Dan Reynolds has shared that he has dreamed about making a video game since 2021, even saying that game development can be more exciting to him than making music. His band’s music has previously appeared in gaming spaces, including titles on the Nintendo Switch and collaborations connected to League of Legends.

As Night Street Games gets ready for the launch of LastFlag, the game is currently expected to release on April 14, 2026 for PC, with console versions planned to arrive afterward. It will launch on Windows PC through platforms like Steam and the Epic Games Store, while additional console support is still in development. The fast paced capture the flag gameplay and team based strategy are likely to attract competitive shooter fans, objective focused players who enjoy tactical teamwork, and gamers who like colorful hero shooters or classic arcade style multiplayer experiences. Whether you enjoy quick 5v5 matches or coordinated team play, LastFlag aims to bring a unique mix of retro game show style and modern competitive action.
