Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards has been fined $50,000 for directing inappropriate language and making an obscene gesture toward a fan, it was announced today by Byron Spruell, President, League Operations.
The incident occurred with 4:33 remaining in the third quarter of the Timberwolves’ 117-95 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series.
Lately, it seems like Anthony Edwards cannot control his tempo whenever dealing with fans talking trash at him. If he can control his tempo and just play basketball, he won’t be fined that much anymore because he’s focusing on winning the basketball game.
