In a recent interview that she’s planning to hit the studio again this year. But with her busy tour schedule, it’s all about finding the time.
While currently touring Australia on her Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour, Billie opened up about her plans in an interview with Hit Network on Feb. 26. “Definitely getting back into the studio and doing stuff,” she said. “I mean, I definitely have more tour.” She added that there’s “lots of tour to do” and even hinted that more dates might be added, saying, “Probably more than I’m even scheduled for that’s going to come, which I’m excited about.”
Right now, Billie’s tour is booked through June, with a European leg starting right after she wraps up in Australia. So far, she’s performed four shows in Brisbane and is halfway through her four-night run in Sydney. Before this, she spent about two months touring North America, ending with five sold-out shows at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
Before heading to Australia, Billie also performed her song Birds of a Feather at the 2025 Grammys, where it was nominated for Song and Record of the Year. Meanwhile, her album Hit Me Hard and Soft was up for Album of the Year but lost to Cowboy Carter by Beyoncé. Despite that, she’s still had a massive year—her album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and Birds of a Feather was one of Spotify’s most streamed songs of 2024.
Even with all the success, Billie admitted she didn’t know how the album would be received. “I’ve definitely learned that I never have any idea what people are gonna like or not like,” she said in the interview. “I had a couple moments of like, ‘They’re not going to like it; people aren’t going to like it; it’s not good enough; what if it’s not universal?’”
Eventually, she let go of the doubt. “And then, I gave it up and thought, ‘You know what? I don’t care at all,’” she said. “‘I’m not making this for anyone but myself.’”
From the looks of it, Billie isn’t slowing down anytime soon. With more tour dates likely on the way and new music in the works, 2025 is shaping up to be another big year for her.
