Jason Derulo & Snoop Dogg’s ‘Wiggle’ Music Video Hits 1 Billion Views on YouTube

Jason Derulo and Snoop Dogg’s energetic hit, Wiggle, has officially entered YouTube’s Billion Views Club, reaching this milestone a decade after its release in 2014. Known for its infectious chorus—“You know what to do with that big, fat butt / Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle”—the track continues to captivate listeners with its catchy beat and unforgettable visuals.

A Party-Filled Video and Star Appearances

The music video for Wiggle features an extravagant pool party, complete with energetic dance moves, and even a cameo from singer Ne-Yo. In line with the song’s fun and carefree theme, the video highlights Derulo’s signature dance style and Snoop Dogg’s effortless cool, creating a visual that pairs perfectly with the track’s playful nature.

The goal of the music video was to capture the song’s lighthearted vibe and playful spirit, with plenty of dancing and memorable moments that reflect the energetic essence of ‘Wiggle.

Chart Success and Milestone Achievements

Released as the fourth single from Derulo’s Talk Dirty album, Wiggle followed popular tracks like “The Other Side” and “Marry Me.” It quickly rose to the top of the charts, peaking at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and boosting the Talk Dirty album to No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

“‘Wiggle’ is one of my favorite songs on the album,” Derulo previously said of the track. “After I finished recording it I knew it would be a special record, so I reached out to the big OG homie, Snoop, and he blessed me with an incredible verse, and now the record is out of here. When we were making the video I wanted to capture the fun and light nature of the song, as well as highlight the dancing and swag that the song represents.”

With Wiggle now reaching 1 billion views, both Derulo and Snoop Dogg celebrate yet another significant milestone in their music careers.
