Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro has reported a strong performance in his first full quarter at the helm, with significant contributions from “Toy Story 5” driving studio revenue. Theme parks also experienced an uptick in attendance, bolstering overall company performance.
The company’s streaming division saw its profits more than double during the three months ended in June. This surge in streaming profitability, combined with gains in other sectors, led to a substantial increase in total operating income for Disney’s fiscal third quarter, which jumped 21% to $5.6 billion.
