In a recent interview that sheâs planning to hit the studio again this year. But with her busy tour schedule, itâs all about finding the time.
While currently touring Australia on her Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour, Billie opened up about her plans in an interview with Hit Network on Feb. 26. âDefinitely getting back into the studio and doing stuff,â she said. âI mean, I definitely have more tour.â She added that thereâs âlots of tour to doâ and even hinted that more dates might be added, saying, âProbably more than Iâm even scheduled for thatâs going to come, which Iâm excited about.â
Right now, Billieâs tour is booked through June, with a European leg starting right after she wraps up in Australia. So far, sheâs performed four shows in Brisbane and is halfway through her four-night run in Sydney. Before this, she spent about two months touring North America, ending with five sold-out shows at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
Before heading to Australia, Billie also performed her song Birds of a Feather at the 2025 Grammys, where it was nominated for Song and Record of the Year. Meanwhile, her album Hit Me Hard and Soft was up for Album of the Year but lost to Cowboy Carter by BeyoncĂŠ. Despite that, sheâs still had a massive yearâher album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and Birds of a Feather was one of Spotifyâs most streamed songs of 2024.
Even with all the success, Billie admitted she didnât know how the album would be received. âIâve definitely learned that I never have any idea what people are gonna like or not like,â she said in the interview. âI had a couple moments of like, âTheyâre not going to like it; people arenât going to like it; itâs not good enough; what if itâs not universal?ââ
Eventually, she let go of the doubt. âAnd then, I gave it up and thought, âYou know what? I donât care at all,ââ she said. ââIâm not making this for anyone but myself.ââ
From the looks of it, Billie isnât slowing down anytime soon. With more tour dates likely on the way and new music in the works, 2025 is shaping up to be another big year for her.
