Buffalo Bills Agree to Record-Setting Extension with Reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen, Reports Say

The Buffalo Bills announced on Sunday that they had agreed to a record-breaking contract with the 2024 NFL MVP quarterback Josh Allen. According to reports, they agreed on a six-year extension worth $330 million with $250 million guaranteed. This new deal makes Allen the highest paid player in the NFL.

Before the deal, Allen had four years and approximately $140 million left on his contract. The Bills have added two-years securing Allen through the 2030 season.

The Bills went 13-4 throughout the regular season, and secured a spot in the playoffs. They fell short in the AFC Championship game to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Allen recorded 4,269 total yards and 41 touchdowns during the 2024 season. Notably, he has struggled with turnovers but turn things around this past season, only recording six interceptions. His notable numbers earned him the 2024 NFL MVP.

Allen has led the Bills to five consecutive AFC East titles and is a three-time Pro Bowler. In only seven seasons, Allen is already being described as one of the best players in Bills history.
