Snoop Dogg will be delivering the commencement address for the 2025 graduation ceremony at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, the university announced on Tuesday, March 25.
“I am deeply honored to join USC Marshall’s commencement in celebrating the remarkable achievements of these graduates,” Snoop Dogg shared in a statement posted on the school’s website. “Commencement is not just a milestone — it’s a launching point. It’s about stepping into your purpose, applying what you’ve learned, and making an impact that matters. I look forward to welcoming them into the next chapter of their journey as leaders, innovators, and changemakers.”
Snoop has been a long-time supporter of USC, frequently visiting USC football practices during the early 2000s when Pete Carroll was the head coach. He also showed support for USC women’s basketball standout, Juju Watkins, during a game against Notre Dame last fall.
The iconic rapper previously spoke to USC Marshall students just a few months ago in December, where he participated in The Entrepreneur as a Brand discussion with Albert Napoli, a senior lecturer of clinical entrepreneurship. This was part of Napoli’s BAEP 452: Feasibility Analysis class.
Napoli described Snoop as “the ‘Dogg-father of Cool,’” noting his success as an entrepreneur with a recognizable brand that resonates with a wide range of audiences. Snoop Dogg was also named the 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year by USC’s Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, a prestigious award previously given to industry giants like Steve Jobs, Howard Schultz, and Marc Benioff.
